DEREK TULLUCK, M.ED., NBCT

Elementary School Counselor, Presenter, and Author of Brick-Based Counseling

Derek Tulluck is a school counselor in the Seattle area in the Enumclaw School District and also teaches a variety of courses at City University of Seattle in the Professional School Counseling graduate degree program. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and completed his M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from City University of Seattle, and his BA in Linguistics from Western Washington University. Derek is passionate about incorporating play-based learning strategies and loves using LEGO® materials in his work as a school counselor. Outside of school counseling, Derek enjoys traveling, cooking, chess, and learning Japanese. He is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Derek lives in Enumclaw, WA with his wife and their 2 children.
